“ THERE ARE MANY PROCESSES IN MAKING MY ART. THOUGH I WORK ALONE, OFTEN JAPANESE TEXTILES ARE MADE BY PEOPLE WORKING TOGETHER, EACH PERSON SPECIALIZES IN ONE PART OF THE TRADITIONAL PROCESS.
IT IS FUN, BECAUSE EACH TIME I USE MY STENCILS AND DESIGN PATTERNS,
IT MAKE AN ORIGINAL PIECE OF ART.
THOUGH IT IS A HUGE PROCESS TO DO ALONE,
I LOVE TO MAKE ARTWORKS THAT ARE MY WHOLE VISION, LOVE, AND ENERGY.
I RESPECT THE WISDOM OF JAPAN. ”
